ASTD Connect

As part of your registration for the ASTD 2008 International Conference and Exposition, you are invited to network with other conference attendees on the NEW ASTD Connect!

STEP 1: Register

Go to astdconnect.astd.org and click "Sign in" at the upper left corner of the screen. ASTD Connect uses the same login system as the ASTD.org website. If you've misplaced your ASTD.org login info, then click "forgot your password?" or "forgot your username?" If you are sure that you do not have an account with ASTD.org, then click "Create one now" to register. Once you are registered with ASTD.org, then go back to astdconnect.astd.org and click "Sign in" again!

STEP 2: Complete your profile

Some of the information from your ASTD.org website account will be automatically filled in, but take some time to fill in additional information about yourself. Remember, the more information you put, the more valuable and unique you are to the community! First, pick a username. Then, fill in the About Me section. Now, fill in the I'm Looking For... section. Finally, upload a photo of yourself. This is a very important step! Uploading a picture allows you to be recognized at the conference.

You're now done with your profile! You'll be receiving an email to confirm your registration. If you don't, then check your junk email box and be sure to make ASTD Connect one of your "email contacts" so you receive all future correspondence.

STEP 3: Find out more!

There are two useful links for you at the upper left of the screen: ASTD2008 Tips and ASTD 2008 Groups. Click these two to find out more about how to use ASTD Connect. You're online… now start connecting!

To return to ASTD Connect in the future, simply log in astdconnect.astd.org. Your account with ASTD Connect will remain active after the conference. If you are having any trouble with registration, please email astdconnect@astd.org.

***Please note*** the previous version of ASTD Connect will remain active simultaneously with this new community to serve the rest of the ASTD community not attending the conference.
